In order to combat Connecticut’s ever-rising electric rates, the state government chose to deregulate the utility industry and allow more competition from private electric suppliers. This means that CT residents in Hartford, Stamford, Danbury, and elsewhere, are no longer stuck with just one electricity option (i.e. their local utility company). Through electricity deregulation, CT residents can switch electric suppliers and potentially save each month on their electric bill.
Although I am spending most of my day in the Library today, I still managed to meet a new friend and reconnect with a former mentor. Looking forward to the continuation of both relationships.
Stayed up late last night working on Marketing homework but it was worth it. Now I get to go into class feeling confident and prepared. Working at Black Bear New Haven tonight.
